Privacy Policy

1. Overview

1Round ("the App") is a training timer application for iPhone developed by Marián Kažimír ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is used.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. The App is designed to function entirely on your device without transmitting personal information to us or any third party.

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device only using iOS standard storage (UserDefaults and the app's Documents directory). This data never leaves your device and is not accessible by us.

This data is included in iCloud backups if you have iCloud backup enabled on your device. You can delete it at any time by removing the App.

4. In-App Purchases

1Round offers in-app purchases (1Round PRO Yearly subscription and PRO Lifetime) through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive, process, or store any payment or billing information. Apple's privacy policy applies to all purchase transactions: apple.com/legal/privacy.

5. Live Activity & Dynamic Island

The App uses iOS Live Activities to display your current round and time remaining on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island. Live Activity data (phase, round number, and countdown timer) is processed entirely on your device by the iOS system. No data is transmitted to our servers.

6. Audio Playback & Background Audio

The App uses iOS audio APIs to play timer sounds and maintain audio session continuity while the timer runs in the background. The App requests the audio background mode entitlement solely to ensure sounds play reliably when the screen is locked during a workout. No audio is recorded or transmitted.

7. Custom Sound Import

PRO users may import audio files from the iOS Files app. Imported files are copied into the App's private Documents directory on your device. We do not have access to these files, and they are not transmitted anywhere.

8. Third-Party SDKs and Services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs. The only third-party dependency is Apple's own StoreKit framework for in-app purchases, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

9. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. Since no personal data is collected at all, the App complies with COPPA and similar children's privacy regulations by design.

10. Data Retention & Deletion

All data stored by the App (preferences and custom sounds) exists only on your device. You can delete all App data at any time by uninstalling the App from your iPhone. Individual custom sounds can be removed from within the App in Settings → Custom Sounds.

11. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights regarding your personal data. Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no data for us to access, rectify, export, or delete on our end. All data is stored locally on your own device and is entirely under your control.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
